    My precious baby girl is now 8 months old and at this stage of her young life she is becoming more aware of her surroundings as well as object permanence. Meaning she understands that mommy and daddy still exist even when we leave the room. She also makes conscious decisions about toys she wants to play even if they are far away from her.
